I'm taking a Continuing Studies figure sculpture class at MECA with John Ventimiglia. I've never worked with clay quite like this and it's so much fun. This was a model I've painted a couple times and it was great to try a new medium. He stands on a 6 foot round lazy susan and John gives him a bit of a turn every 10 minutes or so to give you a different aspect. You press the clay onto a wire armature that is mounted to the pipe that you see in the photo. So much fun!
